well long story short i took the blasty out last night and it seem to be restricted a lil kinda seems like fuel. well it will rev out but not all the way and then die out and then kick up. i have a feeling i know wat it is. last week i was lowering my pilot jet and i didnt have any at the time so i pulled the one out of my stock carb and put it into my 28mm mikuni. well it was smaller and didnt fit right and stupid me left it in and started the bike. wouldnt start so i pulled the bowl off and looked in and it wasnt in there anymore... didnt even bother to look into the bowl but i dumped the fuel from bowl into tank not even thinking. im assuming my jet sent in there. now im trying to figure out if the jet went into the tank and into the lines where could it be gettgn clogged? could it make it back into the carb or stuck in the petcock? wanna pinpoint the area of it being in... thanks

no havnt had much time i rode for like 5 or 10 minutes and it wasnt running rite so i put it away. the tank is full so im gonna have to drain it. u think it could make its way into the petcock or sumthnin? cause it was definatly restricting fuel so im thinking its in the petcock or line. i will check as soon as i get a chance. does anyone knoe the size of the opeing from the tank to petcock and petcock to gas line?

question... i removed my gastank like 2 weesk ago and tried to take the petcok off for cleanign and i removed the 2 bolts but couldnt get it off wat else is holding it on?? thanks

i wouldnt think it would be stuck in the petcock cus the petcock has a long filter thing that sticks up so unless u have a pngel petcock or a modded petcock it should be ok unless by some miracle it knocked the screen outta the petcock than maybe and the only thing that could be holding it on after taken out the 2 screws it the gasket and what ever crap i gunked up on your filter on the inside of the tank

Yeah the petcock sticks up past the bottom of the tank, so unless you're running in reserve, you're not likely to get anything heavy in the intake.

It's probably not running right because of the missing pilot...although the pilot only comes into play at idle.....if it's something wrong with the pilot, it should go away as you rev it.
