I have a blaster with the vito's 240 BB kit. I have a pro circuit pipe and a uni filter. I have a 290 main jet and the airbox lid off. I also have the oil blockoff kit and the TORS removed. I also have the vito's needle in the carb. What else can i do to get the full potential out of my motor? I still have the stock carb on it and the jetting isnt perfect. Its too lean and im working on getting that problem fixed. The only other upgrades i could think of was a 34mm carb and porting? And maybe gearing? Any other suggestions would be appreciated

Stock Vito's porting is absolutely restrictive. A port job will OPEN IT UP.

Ditch the stock carb.... it's not providing enough air/fuel mixture.

The procircuit pipe isn't terrible if you want some grunt but it's not going to let it rev out exactly like how would be nice.

Look in my signature and copy and paste it onto your wishlist basically. Mine is STUPID powerful and you've already got the BBK to start off with.

You have no idea how poor vito's stock porting is compared to it setup for maximum power. I should have taken pictures before I slapped my cylinder back down this weekend but I was excited to try it out and didn't feel like messing with the camera.

That really depends on the 34 and what you plan on using your quad for. If you ride in the woods or play around with it, a TM34 (better) or PJ34 (not quite as good) will work well with the Pro Circuit pipe because it'll feed the engine enough but have more vacuum for bottom end.

thanks for the fast replies. Im going to call my local shop tomorrow and see what their porting prices are then ill try to find a carb that will work good with it. I ride some woods and some open fields and coal hills. i'd rather have top end than bottom end i think

If its running lean, put the airbox lid back on. Worked for me

Eh, that's kinda going backwards if the guy wants power. Yes, it may be a temporary fix for a lean condition but it's certainly not ideal for making power. The 34 jetted properly & some good porting Will surely wake up that engine. idk what's been done with the head but I'd send that along with the jug for chamber modification while I was having the jug ported. From what I've seen KOR does very nice work but for me personally I believe I'd have Flotek do the work for me, I'm just a bit more impressed by what I've seen from them. Either way you'll get outstanding results. Be ready to hang on!
