what are the pros and cons of a higher octane

you run a certain octain of fuel based on the amount of compression you are running. a stock blasty is high enought to warrant 93 octain in my opinion. 93 will burn cooler than 89 or 87. so it would make it less likely to blow up using 93

my motors stock right now and i run 93, and thats where im stickin

but dont go running race gas thinking it will give your quad more power because if you didnt know the higher the octane rating the higher the ignition point so if you run race gas on a stock bike it will make less power because it cant burn it as efficiently
