So I was thinking about painting my frame and i want it to look good but i was wondering if it is difficult to take everything off and then put everything back together? I just don't want to mess anything up. lol Thanks

Very easy.

Just lable bolts in bags as you take them off.

Really? I wasn't expecting an answer like that but I found some nice pics from another thread from someone that stripped their frame. I dont know if its worth it or not.

A little time consumeing but its very easy!
I like to put all the bolts in zip lock bags, one for the frame, one for the suspention... ect ect. i find it helps putting it back together much easier.

OK thanks, I've heard that the Krylon Fusion paint is good in multiple coats. Any other reccomendations?

I personally like rustoleum.

It's easy. If you have doubts just take a lot of pictures as your disassembling that you can go back and look at for a reference. Any thoughts on color?

yeah...i try both and by far rustoleum,and need less coats

once I'm done with the blasty's upgrades , I'm gonna strip it all down ( again ) next winter , and have the frame powdercoated , a -arms , swinger , and get a spare engine and get it chromed , make it too pretty to ride , then ride the hell out of it .

My seat is red and black so I was going to paint the frame red and the plastics black. I was also planning on painting the rims black with a red border stripe. Just another project for winter break!

how well does painting your frame hold up to wear and tear?
I don't wanna spend tons of time taking my quad apart and painting it if it's just gonna chip or wear off within a couple of weeks.
