Frame Compatibility

My blaster is an 89, it has a bent frame and I found a frame that I can buy, no a-arms or swingarm just the frame itself. I'm not sure what year it is, will my engine and plastics and everything else bolt up to it as long as it's 88-02?

yes, and then some,
88/89's lacked heelgaurds and the corresponding mount on the frame
90-02's will have that mount allowing the use of heelgaurds (highly recommended)
everything else will bolt right up

my local yamaha dealer ship told me the tenth digit on frame,near foot shifter is the year.I believe them
