well i started this thing up and it ran ok for a lil bit but then a poping sound out the exhaust and it cut off. i tried kicking it to start it back but nothing. compression feels week, im guessing a ring caught the exhaust port?? i left right after that because i was a little frustrated. will update tomorow with results...

Pull it and see. A ring could have caught a port but it's relatively unlikely unless the thing was installed wrong or the piston to cylinder clearance wasn't right.
id have to agree with sicivic, piston to the cylinder clearance sounds like it has to do with it
.004 is right on the edge for well chamfered ports. If they were sharp, .004" lets the rings slide out enough while the ports are open to snag one.
pop it back off and see what in the H happened. If it snagged a port, it's alright... a piston and bore and she'll be right then. You'll be able to run it for a long time after that.

that toomey looks good i think you should make this your trail quad and turn you other that last step to a full out drag we know the other has the power lmao
im going to make my banshee the trail quad and dragrace the blaster i think.

i was going to get some handlebars and get rid of the twist throttle but i wanted to make sure it was running first... i got one heat cycle in today so far.

Right now itsoff the coast of new york...the bike seat is around somewhere I was just doin a heat cycle. I will have this thing right soon after I get home next week with more pics!
My older blasty loved to eat reeds I had to feed her every couple months or so LOL....I refused to put the reed stops back on.....running at top speed tends to break there backs LOL the cost of fun you gotta love it
got it running good today. i ended up taking the jug back off and going with a 68.25 piston so its on its last bore. also put my rad valve on it. did some breaking in today and maybe this weekend get to take it out.

i ended up using the same plastics and swapped the handlebars off the other bike getting rid of the stupid twist throttle.
i dont think id ever buy those boyeson dual stages u broke. my friend had the same exact thing happen. stupid things didnt last a minute. ill stick with my mossbargers I:I
