Wow, that's alot of whining, even for a newb, holy geesis... 
Anyway, as previously stated in numerous posts the rules are what they are, and are justified in many ways, as some have been pointed out in this thread.
And, the rules cover EVERYONE, not just the veteran/seller, etc...
Freek said it will be looked into to see if this can be tweaked to accommodate everyone but it does and has protected all in the past. The forum sign up requires $10, which is chicken scratch for what you become a part of and the resources you have availability to. You gotta earn your keep before any transactions can be made, etc, period...
It makes alot of sense in the long run. But, we all understand your point you stress, got it...
