Ok i am posting this for a friend of mine at work who also owns a blaster. He told me that he just rebuilt the top end of his blaster and it starts right up and runs good but there is just one problem he cant get his clucth disengaged . like he can pull in and out his clutch lever but internally his clutch is stuck engaged thus making the bike not rideable.

any help appreciated

thanks James

This might be sound a little confusing. If you take the clutch cover off, right in the middle of the clutch there will be an ajustment screw, i think if you tighten the screw it tightens the clutch, and if you loosen the screw i think it loosens the clutch. I had a prob with my clutch on my blaster 2 months ago where i re-built my whole engine and i was riding and all of a sudden i lost the clutch. I took my clutch cover off and i realized that the locknut for the ajustment screw wasnt tight so it loosened up while riding. So tell your friend to loosen the screw to loosen the clutch. And make sure you tighten the locknut!

I had a similar problem on one of my dirt bikes. It turned out to be the clutch basket had notches in it not allowing it to disengage. I'm not sure about blasters but i think they have clutch baskets as well.
