I'm looking at exaust systems and narrowed it down but dont know weather to go with the sst or the fatty front pipe. Which should I go with?

Neither. unless for some crazy reason you have to chose one or the other, I would chose the sst. It has more top end. I hate my fatty just as the power comes on it falls off.
Well, What is the best exhaust system you can buy on a budget? I thought FMF made good pipes, thats what my buddy runs.
FMF is good if you are on a budget, you could prolly get a used full FMF pipe and silencer set up for $100 bucks shipped.
a good pipe is going to cost about $300.00 or more new. you would be really hard pressed to find a used one because once someone has one, they dont want to let it go.
don't get me wrong. FMF makes a good pipe, they just went wrong with the blaster. its not a bad pipe, just not the best.

i had anormal fatty and a early sst which was marketed threw riva racing made by fmf it was a sst with out the sst name... and i liked it much more.. the normal fatty fell off to soon. where as the sst held up higher.. if you trail ride or ride in your yard or field the fmf is just fine
I like the SST, it cost 20.00 more then the fatty, I do alot of trail riding. If anyone has a sst pipe, or a powercore 2 silencer for sale let me know. I was just gonna buy the set out of the Dennis Kirk mag. If you guys know of a better setup let me know. I don't mind spending the money for pipes, its the most important upgrade you can make to a bike I think.
I am new to Blasters.. and new to the forum really... And on my bike... I have a FMF Gold series fatty with powercore 2 on it..
I am not sure... I have a hotrod crank.. its not standard bore either.... And honestly I have loads of top end or at least I think I do... I think my bike is almost at a perfect balance.. I have a 300MM carb I was going to put on.. but my bike works killer.. its kinda scares me sometimes..
I dont regrest have the fatty and powercore 2.. and doubt I will change unless I upgrade more which is going to be a while from now because it works killer!

lol I made a typo 30MM CPW OKO carb..not 300MM lol toooo funny.. one big Fing carb is that was the case ha ha
Try ebay or online atv stores. I used to use dennis Kurk but then there wasnt any internet yet LOL. I find that their prices are alot higher than you can find elsewhere.
spend an extra hundres over th fmf and get a dyno port pipe, mine rips and i dont even have a lot of mods yet, but when i go bb or porting i wont have to get a diff setup.
and i had one of the old style left hand sst pipes. it was a really good pipe for regular riding. now i guess the sst is a right bend.
