did they make a shorty for the blaster?

if so could anyone find a link for one, i have looked all over and cant find one.

thanks in advance

they do not make a "shorty" for the blaster,
or any 2 stroke atv that i've seen, thats a bike thing.

but you can...
remove the rivets and end piece, cut canister and baffle tube to desired length (usually limited to removing 2-3 inches by the rear mount)
repack with new silencer packing while your in there,
re-drill for new rivets new or self tapping screws.

shortened my LRD silencer almost 3 inches because i hate them sticking out past the plastics

my friends bro has a shorty on his Yamaha 125 2-stroke dirt bike

how short could i make it?? its currently a turbine core 2, i hate its length its way too long

you can go as short as the rear mount allows, maybe 1/2" past to allow for new rivets/screws

Shortening up the can tends to make the pitch of the sound higher and often work better with smaller, higher rpm engines. I did some playing around with my KTM 125 and 300 and came to this conclusion. The 11,000rpm 125 liked the shorter cans and 8000rpm 300 liked all the silencer volume I could give it. Both felt very small power gains or losses with the right or wrong silencer cans on the ends of them. I am with AWK08, more important to have my silencer clear of any damage than gain a hp by having it stick out 4".

2 strokes work a bit different than 4 strokes with silencers. A bit of restriction may actually gain you power. Proper fiberglas packing often makes power, and of course it keeps trails from being closed.

ok, yeah i have stock bumper and with soft dirt it scrapes pretty deep into the ground, but say on cement i have like a 1/4 clearance on the end.

i like the really deep sound of it but i need to install my DG grab bar, and muffler is too long.

ok, update the DG bumper i have has no tail-light mounts so i made some and are going to get them TIG welded on this comeing week.

I also cut about 3" off my muffler today as it was rainy/snowing and had nothing better to do and i knew i was going to have to do it at some point, so hopefully it will fit now cause i don't wanna have to take it apart again and remove some more of ir
