If I was you I'd just put a pro x piston kit in while I was there they are a good piston and are affordable also give the jug a hone you could even tidy your ports up slightly. Replace gaskets new plug and do your heat cycles

well if it needs new rings it will obviously get a honing and ill clean out the carbon on the ports, and obviously itl need a new head gasket and then break in cycles for the rings. ive heard mixed things about pistons, most say they make only a slight difference....

So i did a compression test, did a few, and it varied between 100-110 psi. new rings?

Luckily all you will need is new rings, but have the piston and bore measured to see wether they are servicable.
