how do u get the fly wheel off im trying to do the timing advancing and cant get it off

You NEED! a puller.

lol i just went to the store bought a two prong puller and used my grinder and shaved the ends down so it would fit

would it be hard to fab up my own and could some one take a pic of a real one and ill copy it well ill try lol

i wouldn't do that... flywheels are meant to be balanced and if you go shaving off stuff from it, it might not run properly afterwards ...

I think he meant that he ground down the puller jaws, but that kind of puller WILL bend the flywheel, the one for pulling the flywheel pulls on the hub NOT the bell.

i had one of those but i threw it away it didnt work

so is this somthen i cant fab up that i have to buy cus the one i seen was prity much a bolt that pushed on the crank and had a peace with threads on inside and outside to grap the flywheel

that's the one....worth it to buy one, esp if you're gonna advance timing cuz you'll prob need to pull it a couple times to fine tune it.

he's right it's worth getting the puller, i bought one at my local atv shop for 15 bucks, it's not much.... on the first blaster i had i screwed up the flywheel trying to remove it with a 3 jaw puller. learn from my mistakes, get the puller.
