Flushing out bottom end

What is the best way to flush the piston out of my bottom end. I had i piston explode and got metal in the bottom end what is the best to flush it out or am i going to have to split the case.If so what does it take to split the casewhat is needed when put back together.

u should be able to take the engine out and flip upside down and flush it out the crank case is sealed off from the transmission gears so u dont have to split the cases, no metal could get in the trans!
