Float height

What is the float height supposed to be? And from where do I take the measurement? I hook up the tank and as soon as I turn the fuel on it pours out of the carb overflow......

Thanks man. Finally got to work on the bike. All together and started. Has new wiseco top end, new reeds, rebuilt carb, All new gaskets, leak tested, and tors is in the garbage. Carb needle is in middle position, air mixture screw 2 turns out. The new idle screw is all the way in. It idles fine and runs ok. Seems like sometimes it has the giddy up it should sometimes, but sometimes very boggy(no power)? Any help Would be bad ass. Thanks guys.

get them floats set and all may be well ?

what pipe/filter and main jet ?
have you plug chopped the main jet ?
