one of my friends did this and the valve stems hit the A-arms and got riped out......

has this happend to any of you?????:(

If the flipped wheels are going to be a permenant thing, IE he's not planning on upgrading to extended arms in the future, you can actually drill a hole on the other side of the wheel and install new valve stems, then just turn the old ones backwards. This way the old ones are out of the way, and you have easy access for adding air.

yea, 03 and up have disk hydro disk brakes from the factory. The stock 02 and earlier have drum brakes, and you wont have a problem with them hitting with the drums.

do those valve stems have caps, and they rotate to get to the stem itself? I tried to flip my wheels today, and my stems hit the calipers, so I had to switch them back.. Thanks, Nick

just change the valve stems it really is worth it.
i lowered my sons blasters and turned the wheels around.
talk about stability!!
course we have wide hole shots on the rear as well, but it's hard to get it to bicycle at all.

makes for quicker corners
