in ye'r opinion what is the fastest way to go around corners???i know its probably clutch it before the bend and leave it out in the bend to get a fast drift but there are other wasys i presume!!?

I'm not an mxer, but just like the vid tj posted, I know to brake late and keep my elbows up. Hell most of the time I dont even use brakes, I just ride the brem most of the time or power through it..... hard to do with stock tires :(

Just like the video said, Break hard early and for a short amount of time, shift the body weight and hit the gas. There is no other way to get through a corner faster.

why not even hit the brakes in the turn if your a real good rider and have a 50 wide machine its not going to flip

you'd be surprised at how easy it is to barrel role one trying to take a corner. Even a quad with all the right mods can and will bicycle/flip without the right weight distabusion and throttle/brake input.

yeah even for the best riders it is possible...and braking in the turn might throw you off your line and you would end up bashing a rider next to you who has taken a much faster line..

ya I guess well im a pretty decent rider and I have fliped it about 4 times on out local track thats a stock blaster i just thought it was the quad because I was trying to go into the turn with out braking like Ivv ridin yfz450's and stuff but nothing race readdy so I guess its the same thing with all quads

yeah but it would whether the quad was a stock or race tuned would make a difference i think on the way the quad would handle in the bends aswell as acceleration out of the bend probably,i dont race but im just going by my knowledge of quads..

ive found that for flat corners its best to pin it until the last second, lock up the rear brakes and use your hips to get the rear end moving, as soon as you enter the corner whack it wide open and use the clutch to control traction out of the corner.

berms same deal just come in faster
