excessive 2stroke coming out

Hi

I have a 05 blaster that i baught second hand a couple of years ago and have been pooring in money into since. basically i have done some simple modes like put on a new pipe and silencer, put a new jet in and had the top end rebuilt. my newest problem is that the thing is chugging down 2 stroke oil. basically my silencer is filled with it and its comming out of the over flow tube with a steady drip as i run the engine now. is this a common problem, do i just have to bleed out the system? any help would be appreciated with my money pit/

well are u still running the oil pump? or are you premixing? have you checked the plug? Id say some where your just getting to much oil and its not burning it all off! and what over flow is it coming out of? carb overflow or crankcase ventilation tube? is it smoking anymore than usual?

um you can fix that since obviously your running the oil pump still. get a block off kit and pre-mix from now on. should fix your to much oil problem right away!!!

ok i figured it out when i realized there is no oil overflow tube....its the tube that goes into the carb...so ive been running like this for about two hours run time maybe....im not use to working on two stroke engines...but i think i may change it over with a block off kit and mixing fuel myself. thanks for the help . it makes a big difference having poeple to bounce ideas off of to figure out the solution was right in front of me

hahaha. block off kit is the way to go. i never got the point of one either but you all demonstrated to us what happens when you dont get one. hahaha sad but true.

What's Castro 927 and where can I get some?

Castro 927 is 2 Stroke oil. Its made by Maxima. You should be able to get it at any motorcycle store! Best stuff ever.

yea id take the oil pump off cause it can get clogged and blow up top end and then that another 150 to drop in the motor so yea i would start premixing to a 32:1

lol in my case its that in doesnt smoke that much after its running like 10 minutes, although i use Yamalube and it say's it reduces visible smoke alot, i dont know

Damnit if I woulda known, and I just made my new 5gal tank of premix yesterday... Now I gotta ride excessively to dump this tank and get my new stank oil

I don't know about this Fidel Castro 927 stuff, but I run Klotz Super Techniplate, and love it!!! Smells great, but protects and lubes even better!!!
