What causes eratic idle on a 97 blaster?

This is irritating...Could there be something wrong with the reeds..They are boysens...On both sides they touch the base so they are closed good...Are they supposed to be like this? I have to bump start it ...kick starter works however after 10 chuck norris attempts I say f*ck it and start pushing...Beer in one hand bike in the other...LOL ...I need a bottle holder on this thing as much as I am working on it...

there may be a air leak .. did u try spraying down the engine wile its running with some wd40 and see if it stars to burn the wd40 lol...
