Hey guys! New to the forums, but ive had a blaster and a banshee for a whille now. Ive been having trouble with the blaster and was looking for advice. I was in the pits the other day and climbing a hill and had a sudden loss of power so i took it home and did a leakdown which came out with no leaks. Did a compression test and that was fine. I am getting spark to my plug and i tore the carb apart and cleaned it and all the jets and made sure the slide wasnt stuck. After all that it ran right for a minute but now it bogs out at random points. So my question is do you guys think its electrical seems as how i lose power at random times and other times it runs fine?
Thanks in advance!

Yeah when i cleaned the carb i also did the petcock and vent hose, and i have checked all electrical connections. Think it could be the stator maybe?
Thanks!

how strong is your spark?

i would remove and sand all the grounds on the harness.

what psi compression do you have? you said its good im just curious

is there any particular time is quits on you?? or is it completely random?

also if you have any connectors that are rusted or corroded i would replace them. i did every on of mine

Sounds electrical. As stated above check that grounds are good. Also make sure your plug wire and cap are in good cond.

Is float height set correctly? Could also be a bad stator and acting up when gets hot.

Thanks for reporting back. It helps others with the same symptoms narrow things down..
