Engine Problem?

Ok so heres my problem I am not sure if its the hub or not but heres whats going on my machines running great but when you go to give my machine too much throttle its making a winding out like sound like you want it to go but it does not wanna go anymore like its in neutral I checked my hub and there is some wear of the splines I also checked out my clutch but it looks fantastic I am wondering if the hub splines are bad or not i dunno can someone maybe help me out a little bit cause if its not the hub would be nice to find out i been waiting on a hub for a good bit now but dunno if it is the hub.

Hub ? What are you referring to as a hub? All I know a hub as is for the wheels. Hence "wheel hubs"

Ohhhhhhh I see...... I think you would hear it if your chain was rubbing on your sprocket(s). That doesn't sound like the problem. Honestly it sounds like a clutch issue to me but I don't usually know much

sounds like clutch issues to me also.. have u tried adjusting it and when was the last time it was changed? how old it the oil?

My clutch looks fine works great from what I notice I had the case apart clutch side inspected it looks great (I am no mechanic on clutches) but even measuring everything like the manual says but like I said my hub has some wear on it looks to be and some play so is this what it could be you can go about 20-25 then once you start giving it more throttle sounds like the engine is going more but the quad is not.

I always change my clutch oil like every 5 rides

most smoked clutches look fine by visual inspection, i would try adjusting it at the bars and see if it helps your problem

Im sending your hub with a sprocket on it tomorrow man. Im really sorry about the delay, my dad is in town, and Ive been having to run him around everywhere, and Ive had some job interviews, its just been nuts.

Well turned out it was too rich for one so we went with a 50:1 and it needed jetted
