Engine Problem

My Blaster died on me while i was riding and wouldnt start. I got it home pulled it apart and there was this ring stuck in the reeds. Its about an inch in diameter and Im trying to figure out where it came from. Can anybody tell me what its from?

looks like a piston circlip..........better pull the top end apart and check the damage

thats the ring that holds the wrist pin in.....

yep def looks like a wristpin circlip to me. need to pull the topend. weird that it ended up in the reed cage.

Its too big to be a wristpin circlip. Anymore ideas to where it came from?

pretty sure it's a circlip, if not i'm not sure were it would've came from, i've done blaster motors up and down and i don't reconize that as anything but a circlip, maybe it came from your crank case as debris from your last rebuild? just a far out theory but what else would it be?

yeah dude that is def foreign to a blaster if it is too big to be a circlip. who did the rebuild. oh i didn't see you said it was an inch in dia. no clue unless it was dropped into the crank chamber and somehow made it's way to the reed cage. did it look as if it came from the inside or outside of the reed cage. it looks all sooted up like it has been in the exhaust. very strange. some sort of circlip

I t has not been rebuilt so it couldn have came from a previous rebuild. It looks like the ring might have came from outside the reed cage but im not sure.

still lost. must have just gotten into the intake somehow. who knows. atleast it didn't make it to the top end. pretty sure wasn't a part from your blaster though.
