engine oil?

its not just engine oil ,its your crankcase oil with your clutch in there, regular oil has friction modifiers in them that decrease clutch performance
btw why didnt you do a search????? u obviously know how,and it was my TOP end that went ,bottom end is mint.
hopefully someone else will chime in because i guess i dont know nothin

i could care less the oil realy is just the bottom end cause the 2 stroke oil is the engine oil

curious what u guys run for motoroil i just run a straight 30w

Its not motor oil, its gear and clutch oil. THe crank is lubed by the gas/oil mix going into the head.

You must buy "real" gear oil that is safe for wet clutches. Go to either dealer or aftermarket shop for some 2stroke gear oil.

I use old motor oil out of my truck when i change its oil, its about the best you can get for a 2-strokeI:I
