engine/kickstart

got a blaster rebuilt it from bottom up and it was workin fine for a week and then the kickstart got loose took the parts off to get inside of the spring of the kickstart then fixed it put everything back so i started kick starting it and all of a sudden the kick start sometimes wont turn the engine got to kick it 3 times so it can it can start turning the engine then does the same and the engine will start and sometimes wont

was anything out of place when you opened clutch cover?

it might not be your kicker...but your engine,regardless if you just rebuilt it
i guess you could take out spark plug and rotate the flywheel by hand and if it locks up there is your answer

yea everything is in its place just took it apart and i pulled out the spark plug and rotated the fly wheel and it does not lock rotates perfect

fix the problem had to bend one of the rings so it can hold in place

my bad the clip but now went to another problem it starts then as i give it a little throttle it dies wiring is good and compression is good

if you did break it in properly
and you did leak test it
and you did compression test it then try this
just unplug the first pic as shown and start it

yea i did break it in properly did leak test and it has no tors

sounds electrical but
have you tried cleaning the carb/airfilter
new plug
flywheel key could have broke
does it have the origional stator?

looked at all the wiring and everything is good cleaned the carb need to check out the flywheel key and stator
