I went to town and bought a new plug, started it and rode it around the house once and it just dies..and with the other plugs on the top end it would like sputter, and it did it when the plug was brand new..help!!

yes i tried like 4 or 5 different ones and they all do the same thing..this all started after i added more oil to the oil tank under the seat.. people say it might be running lean? because i pulled the plug out after going around the house that one time and there was like black oil on it.
and im using Super in it
this happened to me and i video taped it, but im a noob at engines and i have the carb out and barely know wtf it is lol, i think its the reeds on mine not sure, and i dont think my top end sputters but it stops after my spark gets black and oily and wet or w.e lol let me know if u fix this and im me on aol my sn is xxxalpinexxx80 for the video
what about the fuel/oil mix screw on the carb? someone told me to screw it all the way in, then screw it 360 degress out, then another 180 and it will be lean. then adjust from there
run it for a while, let it get really hot, not just warmed up, then take the plug out and look at the color. black and oily you have too big of a main jet. white, its too small, tan/grey its good. try cleaning your carb and air filter first tho.
yeah, it sounds like your jetting. you probably need to go down two sizes or so if it completely dies from too much gas
i have toomey b1 pipes and it's been re-jetted before.
I fixed it though, somehow water got in the air box ? but i dryed it out with the blow tip and it runs like a beast now.
