Ok guys here we go. I have a 94 blaster that when i start it the bike revs fine siting and idles fine. When i take off about 1/4 throttle it bogs out like you hit a rev limiter and will not rev fully for about seven or 8 min of riding. If you let the bike warm up for ten minutes it runs ok. But if you shut it off and it sits about a hour you have to start this process all over again and it seems like it gets worse all the time. I have a .020 bored out motor and Fmf full exhaust. The carb has a 270 main in it and i changed the plug twice to make sure i did not get one that was (DOA) and put new Boysen carbon fiber super stock reeds in it thinking the reeds could be bad. Do you guys think this sounds like i have a ignition coil going bad which i can ohm out but do you guys agree this sounds electrical. Any ideas?

Thanks
Brent

do a leakdown test, and a compression test to ensure the health of the motor. start there, then we can work from there.

how long do you let it warm up before you take it out?

I usually let it warm up a good ten min but this thing should rev up sometimes i let it warm up a good five min anyway and it does it five min before it comes to life. As far as the health i did the rebuild last year comp is great like i said it it fresh.
