If anyone has advice on where to send elka shocks to get repaired let me know I got a full set for my blaster for 600.00 used but one one of the fronts is blown, or damaged i guess is more accurate. the adjustment screw is bent, and when it is turned leaks alot of fluid. these have a inner and outer to knob adjustment, the outer screw is bent., Has anyone delt with elka servicing, is it reasonable to send in for repair, or is it even worth it. Would I be better off just gettin it replaced some how?:(

I was quoted $230/pair from schmidty racing

I asked about stage3 piggy back elkas and stock yfz450 (was thinking about going the double rate GT Thunder route on them).

"To rebuild either set is $230 per pair. Includes complete disassembly, clean, lube, new seals & and o-rings, new bottom-out bumpers,Lucas synthetic shock oil, and nitrogen charge.. + return shipping"

Sounds like the high speed compression and low speed compression knobs need replaced. I have used elka and they have always treated me right.Better service than works by a long shot.IMO
