Well first off I want to thank all of my fellow Blasterforum partners here. I have sold tons of stuff on here and it has always been good and cut and dry. You want it, you pay for it, I shipped it.Done. Well I have been doing ebay for about 10years and it just gets worse every day. The last two things I tried to sell sucks selling. I sold a part about 3 months ago. When I sell I totally tell the truth and give pics and detail. A guy wins but never pays. I wait, send messages telling him Im waiting,,,,,nothing. Tell ebay, they say ok, just wait and we will tell him. He finally marks paid, and then sends a message, "Hey Im not going to buy it because I didnt read the ad very well so I dont want it now". Well ebay gives me my list fee back but it wont let me leave neg feedback now and nothing gets done to him.

So now I sell the next thing, and when I put the ad on ebay, they prohibit the use of words like dead beat bidder and stuff. Well ok, so I strongly put stuff like , dont bid if you dont pay, and so on. A guy wins against 5 other bidders, I send invoice, then wait a few days, then send a message, still nothing finally send him an email and he responds. I have the flu and cant get to the bank to get money. What ever,,,what a dick. Just tell me that from the beginning. He was well enough to bid against people.
I guess my point is,,,,Ebay sucks now. They protect the buyer to the point that you can bid on whatever you want and the seller gets screwed on his time and money. Usually second chanse offers never work, and if you relist and sell it now sells cheaper. Guys think there is something wrong with it now because you are selling it again.

I hate how sellers can not leave neg feedback. Ebay is screwing the very people who keep them in business.

agreed egay does suck but its so vast i just cant stay away lol. and BUYERS can get some great deals every now and then, for example i got my +4 lonestar for $52 shipped

I'm proud to say I'm not one of them buyers. Mine is about 31 at a 100% feed back.

I'm obsessed with ebay (220 Feedback, 100%) but I do agree. They need to change the rules to help the seller's out. I've never stiffed anyone on an item but I have had people take there sweet time paying for an item.

Well thats where Im at, the guy sent a message saying maybe next week he will pay. I buy a lot from ebay and pay right away, with perfect feedback. I just have other stuff I would be buying right now with that money...

i felt bad with the last item i bought because i paid them around 24 hours after the auction ended lol.



my feedback is also perfect on there at close to 60 (can't remember right now) and have had people take up to a week to pay me for stuff. which is frustrating. very frustrating

yep ebay is going down the drain, ive had 3 buyers in the last month not pay, no messages just no response. i even sold an stro gaming headset to a person in australia, they recieve and make a claim that it isnt working, well paypal makes me give a full refund and when i get my headset back the sorry fockers switched their bad headset and kept mine and i STILL got negative feedback hows that for a swift kick in the a$$. even had another buyer buy that same headset and after the auction ended he didnt have the money and tried to pay only half so when i said no he leaves me negative feedback and i couldnt even leave him feedback because of the rules. that is pretty crappy that only the buyer can leave bad feedback. its hard to sell on there anyway because u have to add in all the dang fees just to get what u need out whatever you are selling.

i almost refuse to sell on there for those reasons. i'll buy but man....its hard to get anything out of stuff you want to sell because all of the selling fees add up.

ive never had a single problem on ebay (bought and sold) and i hope i never do
knowing i just bought a bunch of stuff for my blaster i hope i dont get burned on any deals but theres always the "what if"

I never really use Ebay because there are a chorus of scams, fake products, shady people, etc. I think I've only purchased maybe 3 things off ebay in my entire lifetime and 1 of them wasn't the actual product and a reproduction. I did however pick up my new carb off ebay so I guess I can't complain there....unless that turns out bad too.

ebay went downhill about 3 years ago. I'm not much of a seller anymore, but as a buyer the good deals are harder & harder to find.

I also find most of the sellers these days mis-represent their products. In the past I would trust the sellers desciption. These days, the descriptions are purposely vague (ever notice how most banshee shock sellers don't include the year of the quad the shocks came off?) and peppered with BS.

So now I rarely buy anything off of ebay because I can't trust that the product description will be accurate. In addition, if you click on the sellers feedback % you'll often find that the seller was a POS just 6-months earlier.....but after a couple of okay tranactions their feedback is back to 100%....WTF?

ebay is dead.
