Who would like to try and do a trip to Silver Lake this year? Date Pending I dont know how the opening day rides are. This being my first rodeo in the dunes. Doing it in later May is also a thought cause that's a typical time frame for when students get out of school. So that way everyone can be included. But thoughts and opinions are welcome. Also I was wondering are sand tires a must for the sand or is having them just a plus. Also wondering if the mods on both blasters make them healthy enough for the dune riding.
The 02 has hydros a Toomey B1, 30MM OKO UNI airfilter no lid at 148/50 jetting, and Boyesen power reeds. No engine mods except reshaped head.
It runs crisply and powerfully.
The 04 has an FMF fatty with a turbinecore 2 pipe, stock 26 MM carb with 32.5/260 jetting UNI airfilter no lid with VF3's and +4 swing arm. No engine mods except reshaped head.
