how hard is it to drill out a jet like the local shop is realy expensive and not open today and i wana ride how hard would it be to just drill it out wit somethen a lil bigger cus i need a 260 and i have a 230
haha, i've often thought of this, but never gave it a go. just go in small incriments, maybe even get a bit that will fit in the hole and just reem it a little and give her a try. i can definately see a difference in the size of the whole between the stock 230 and the 350 i am runnin now, but from a 230-260? i don't know how their measured, i know a 250 doesn't have a 1/4 inch hole... so it can't be thousandths of an inch... and i don't think it's 10 thou either... sorry ramblin...
go ahead and try it, worst thing that can happen is you drill it out waaay to big and foul a plug or 2, then have to buy the jet u need anyhow. just go in small increments to keep the overbore to a minimum.
