i race blasters in mx, the two fastest blasters i race with have yamaha 220 roadbike bottom ends appartently these bolt straight on and look nearly identicle apart from a slight curve at the front, does anyone know where to find one of these or has anyone tried this? I cant ask the people i race with because it is against the rules to have one ( its the same as having a 240kit fitted in a standard blaster race)

I have no pictures i cant really ask them to see it because its against the rules to be doing it. Does is the dt200 bottom end any better?

the dt200 bottem end dos bolt into a blaster. it needs the rear main engine mount (mounts with the swingarm) drilled out abit bigger. the dt200 bottom end is no better then a blaster bottomend. There actually worse.....

They have a longer main gear and a slower first then a blaster they also have a longer 2nd so there not really good for a quad. i cant see you havin one of those because it would make mx racing much harder. the tranny shafts are much thinner and have been known to brake at the clutch when using the dt200 bottomend in a blaster.

one way to tell if it is a dt200 bottom end is check right above the oil injection pump, the waterpump would of went there. aswell right around the kick start of oil fill plug you will see where the rpm cable mounts.

surly having a dt bottemend would not be like having a 240bbk. pictures tell more thooo....
