do i need to change the chain?

you should be able to adjust your chain accordingly to the new sprocket without buying a new one.

no, you should be able to adjust your current chain to the new size. one sprocket size isnt enough to make you change chains.

only change is front sprocket

Yeah, there is some truth to that, at least according to Renthal, but I think I'd just keep an eye on it. Doesn't seem worth it for just a front sprocket change.
