another 450 shootout....dont they ever do 2 stroke shootouts....do they beleive in 2 strokes anymore
lol, why would they... they cant make them anymore...
my only question is, why can they make 2 stroke dirt bikes, but not quads?

yes, they make 2 stroke dirtbikes still, they can still do that cause from the factory they are race setup, no spark arrestors, race ported engines, atleast thats the only reason i could think of
Once in awhile.They just did another blaster vs raptor 250 shootout and as always give it to the raptor.The dumb bastards at dirtwheels had the cases trenched and added a +4 crank to the blaster.Nothing like choking a motor down.lol Should tell them a little porting and the raptor will be crying.
so they ran a unported cylinder with a +4 crank........hmmmm, do they know anything???
Of course not!!! An fmf exhaust,the +4 crank,new vertex piston,and a moto tassanari reed cage,I assume vf3's but they don't say exactly.Can you say redonculous.lol Leave the stock exhaust and do some small cleanup porting and that thing will be faster than the setup they did.IMO
the factories pay for the brain washing of the up and coming riders.
they also compared the brake systems on the two machines, and wouldnt you know...the rappy had better stopping. why?? because the used a blasty with the old mechanicl brakes agianst a bike with hydrolic brakes. the rappy won that...DUH!!!
i wonder if they do anything at all. i think they publish what their advertisers pay for them to say.
bwhahahahahaahhaaaa.....i dont even know what to say........they can use mine for a shootout if they want, it might be a diffrent outcome than that comical setup blaster they used.......and to think that the "dialed in" editor of dirtwheels has been on this site and looked around
it seems to me dirtwheels is the most biased big company ball sucking magazine there is. you cant trust thier reviews and they alyaws do things to swing the results the way they were paid to... assholes... X(

Scott you are correct bro,They did use an 88-02 model and not an 03-06.I didn't even think of that.
it cracks me up...prolly some tool thats never ridden a bike before....and all he does is look up his ??? on websites and rewords them for his answers in dirtwheels..........hell u could put up 3/4 of the blastys on this site against any of there factory "modded" craptors and they would get owned all day
We need to start a 2 stroke movement and creat a magazine.Dirt wheels does what ever the sponsors say.No wonder why there is a nice pair of shocks on every test ride they do.Try riding a set of blaster front shocks and see how they ride.I bet they get bucked off very quickly.lol
i bet it would work well.......u would get the truth behind all the great 2 strokes out there.....i would love to see something like that

I read the whole article and it didnt say exactly who won the shootout, But at the end it did say and not these exact words "but if you put a experienced rider on the blaster the raptor dont have a chance in hell".
mmmmm yall think kawasaki paid dirtwheels in this too? cause orginially i had read kawi was one of the worst 450s, like even worse then honda, lol but this is in stock form
