diesel tech

this is my second year in diesel technology in school,and i was wondering if any1 on here is a tech
my dad is a diesel tech. i was planning on going into diesel but then i found aviation. where you going to school for it?
lol yeah I love what I do. I actually went to school to be an auto tech. Then my driving record sucked to bad to get a job anywhere and Kenworth took me on. Figure that one out, I couldnt be insured to drive $30,000 cars but I can drive a $300,000 custom truck down the interstate in rush hour for a test drive after fixing it......
Just in case you didn't already know, I work for Holt Caterpillar in Austin Tx. The new engines coming out are a lot more complicated but also interesting.
I work on alot of that crap, mostly coaches, and mostly the chassis, we don't do much engine work, a clutch now and then.

I am not a big fan of the C15 accert motor...sorry cat guys, it does look bad ass with both the turbos and all. Try working on that turbo system though... We seem to have nothing but complaints about low power and fuel milage. The ISX seems to be alot better engine. Hell.... cat isnt even going to put motors in trucks after 2010. They are teaming up with international if I remember right. The both use the same Huey (spelling) pump system. Cat used to build one hell of a powerhouse untill the EPA started to f*ck them over.
