did they send me the wrong rings?

OK I ordered a new piston from LA Sleeve. Its a 72.20mm wossner piston model # W240P1 the rings are marked 72.5 the parts were all sealed in the same box from the factory. Are these the right rings or what o

Not sure on that but remember that the diameter of the rings are going to be smaller because the sit in the grooves on the side of the piston .Check the web site of the piston and they should have a chart that will tell you what size rings and part number for that size piston.

put the rings into the bore and measure the ring end gap, as should be done with any rings, and adjusted if necessary, according to the manual specs

I haven't had the cylinder bored yet or I would have already done this. I just wanted to make sure I had all the right parts before I sent it.
