and was so happy when it read 135 , I:I did it a couple times to make sure,

I hav ben putting it off cause i didnt know if I wanted to know for sure lmao

now the ? if you hav good compression can you still hav piston slap ? or would the low compresion be a resault of wear on the piston, ie causing piston slap ...

You can have piston slap even if you have good compression. They usually go hand in hand as the rocking motion of the piston (what everyone calls slap) wears the rings down gradually.

If the cylinder was bored improperly or the engine was re-ringed recently without the proper piston to cylinder clearance, you can still have good compression but a slapping piston.

I dont think this motor has ever ben apart at all, it still had the origianal tires and the throtle stop was set lol looks like they road it and never did anything to it at all, air filter was stock and fell apart when i took it off, shifter shows no signs of wear at all.

feel much better about making it faster, now i dont need to stick a bunch of money into the motor to make it right

If you are confident that the engine is in good shape, mod away!

If you are not confident that the engine is in good shape, pull it apart and check it out to make sure.
