Absolutely not. These kits are very controversial, but I speak from experience, they are durable ,strong, and last through it all. I have been running it on my blaster, the full 6 inch kit for over a year now and have beaten the crap out of it. The brackets are a very heavy duty material and have not cracked, tweaked, even moved, etc. So, I put my seal of approval on them, and I am a 200lb madman on my bike, ride it hard all the time.
They are an affordable alternative to a full a-arm kit that gives the same suspension modification and width for much less $$$$$... I:I
Was a no brainer for me at least...
never heard of a problem being had with diamond j, other then there bracket not working with right bend pipes
