decals + clear coat....?

What will happen after I put the decals on my bike I have and then spray it with clear coat over it all.....will that mess up anything ? Or are decals durable enough just to stick on and go.....?

no if u put clear coat over the decals it will extend the life of them..hold them on better...but when or if they do come off the rest is prob gonna chip off with it

second that!! I would not spray them with clear,IMO they will just flake and chip.

i put "dunlop" decals inside my rims, and then put 4 coats of clear over them, they're still holdin up, look close in my sig

I would think it would be ok on metal but plastic flexes,and the first small flex near the sticker will just start to flake.IMO

Well I have clear krylon that bonds to plastics like my black I used...thats why i was wondering...thanks though
