deal or no deal?

i seen an ad for two yamaha blaster motors. one bottom end (locked up) and two cylinders, two heads and extra parts. guy wants 200 bucks of all of it. claims i have enough parts to make one motor and sell the rest off. just wondering if this is a good deal. thanks

Its kinda weird that he wouldn't put it together and sell for more, but I would closely look at the parts to make sure nothing is cracked or broken, you should be good.

if you don't get it give me the dudes number. callin dibs. but hell yeah that is a great deal. if those cases are in good shape you could easily get your money back if you decided to sell.

and i could almost guarantee you won't get a working motor out of those without a new piston and bore job minimum.

Hell, I had a "working" motor with 45psi compression that I built out of spare parts. It's all relative.....
