dang bolts

tryin to split the cases but the bolt where the clutches are is holding me up. i dont have that holder tool but i got it to stay. is there a simpler way to get it loose besides beating on it?:-/

If your talkin about the bolt with the lock washer on it. Did you smash it down. and if your on the bolt on the crank, either one is torqued on like a mother. I didnt have power tools and had to take like a 3 foot cheater bar to break it loose.

Use an impact wrench for the clutch basket nut, the crankshaft nut and the balance shaft nut. Remember to bend over the tabs on the washers for the clutch and balance shaft nuts. Also be sure to hold the piston when loosening the nuts.

thnaks guys alot of help. now is there an easy way to get stripped screws out. the guy who did the motor before be stripped em bad. maybe vise grips

use a penny in the gears for the nuts. vise grip or impact driver on the screws

mabe try pounding in a flat head screwdriver.....seems to work sometimes
