So I am a newer blaster owner and my blaster has gotten harder and harder to start when cold. I was told to check my compression and it was around 95 PSI. I haven't torn it apart yet, but when inspecting the outside of the cylinder and case where they meet on the front end about the exhaust hole is a build up of oil and I was wondering if that would make enough of a difference to make me lose compression. Sorry if I seem like a noob with this, but I am.... Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks Guys!

i just retapped and heli coiled 6 head studs lol.bike was easy to start but ran like crap.
with this leaky head i had about 135 psi,but that was before i took it out for about an hr.
a guy needs a leak down tester to check for leaks

I hope I'm stating this with loose terminology but I believe mine is leaking where the cylinder meets the case... but once I get it started it runs,, but its slowly going down hill. So I think its ready for a tear down but I just wanted to get some input on the matter.
the oil you see at the front of the motor is more than likely from an exhaust leak, which has nothing to do with your compression, what does effect that is the head gasket and piston rings < which prolly need replaced along with a piston, and bore/hone of the cylinder
