Okay let me make sure i have this correct? Say I mic my cylinder at 66.4mm standard is 66. Then do i have it bored out to 66.5 and buy the top end rebuild kit of 66.5? Do i always bore out to the next size and macth with piston size? Second, do i need the piston when boring or can the mech just bore to my specs?

when boring never go more then one size at a time so if ur at stock go next size if your sleeve walls arent real bad..order the piston and take it into the shop with the head.the shop needs the piston for measurement..due to the fact that even if it says 66.5 it might not be exactly that hope this helps ya

Have the shop mic the cylinder and tell you what size piston you need.
Order the piston and take it to the shop, it's a good thing to have the piston there when boring/honing!

I ordered mine from John @ Rjatv.com, got the kit in 2 days. They go for $66 bux!
