CT racing kit

it does not appear you would need the benefits of the anti knock properties that high octane rated race gas offers ,but there are other advantages besides that over pump gas however .most atv /dirtbike shops are completely clueless and dont actually build anything ..they just assemble parts from an overrpiced catalog
 
i was told there is something in the 93 octane thats not in the av gas. so that if i were run only av gas id have to put some type of additive to it thats what the gal of 93 does.. dont quote me on that thats just what ive been told..
 
Come on people just try the strait av gas the 100LL vers. I was running half race gas and half 93 then i went to av gas.Never going back.You can feel the difference and that idle knocking that was there is gone I:I you might have to play with the main jet but thats about it.But if you have too high of compression you will need race gas.Just run the av gas strait,you dont need to mix anything great stuff.
 
good deal so ill just run the av gas straight and see what happens..
also just for the sake of not having to mix up to seperate gasses one for me and one for my girl. it cant hurt to just run it in her stock bike can it??

but mixing up two cans all the time sucks..
 
ethonal and some premix oils is not a good combination. ethonal is also a water magnet. be thankfull your not playing with boats. I know several people with halfmillion dollar go fast boats with fiberglass gas tanks built into the hulls, the ethonal is eating the gas tanks and they are looking at 25 to 70 thousand dollars apiece to have it fixed. they have to basically cut half the boat apart then cut out the tanks, put new tanks in and put the boat back together

im pretty sure im running to rich at idle tho..
the jet sizes seem to be diffrent dont remember the details im gonna pull the carbs apart tomorrow do my plug chops with straight 110 and see what she looks like.
as of right now they are both mocha brown when doing WOT chop and blackish at idle..
they seem to load up a very little when I idle them for awhile but not to bad..
give it a rev or two and it blows it out..
but i am getting oil residue comming out the tip of the exhaust is that cause im rich?
