I'm wondering if I need to find a different crank as I just bought this machine blown up. Anyway the right/clutch side crank bearing slides on or off with my hand with no effort, shouldn't this be a press fit? Does this mean I need a new right side of the crank? Maybe I should just buy a new Hotrods crank??
Anyone know?

you have the crank out of the cases and the main bearing is sliding on/off ?

I've seen some that slid off, and some that you had to press.
Biggest thing is no up/down play on big end of rod, side clearance and small end side/side is within spec.
With little oil, bearings should roll smoothly.

if there's no scarring of the crank under the bearing, you should be good to get and use new main bearings, if....the specs about the rod bearing posted above check out ?

New crank (rebuilt) = new bearings. That was easy.:D

And if you're at that point, replace the counter balancer bearings. Peace of mind = priceless.
Don't forget new seals.

I'm not sure why my pistol us misread, but it says the right bearing, not the rod bearing. I guess I'll chance on shipping. Thanks
