crankshaft??

got this crankshaft last week put it in my case and found out it has sum side to side play. i want to take it back out and get it rebuilt. wants your thoughts guys . up and down has no play but its seems like it has a space and side to side play. what would happen if i put it together as is? im scared its gonna make the piston slap side to side and blow. :-/ im stumped

it's normal to have some side to side play in the crank. the spec can be found in the manual

thanks man! i knew i read it somewhere just didnt know where. just wanna make sure i do this rebuild right. my bike been sittin on blocks for 4 yrs now. i cant take it no more =]

Side to side play at the crank bearing 0.7mm.

Side play at rod end tip 1mm, you can get away with 3mm providing there is no up and down play.
