Hey i just had the same problem.I dont remeber what size the threads were.BUT I WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW you should take your clutch cover off and check your bearing keeper on the crank since you hit the crank trying to get your flywheel off.My bearing keeper broke shortly after and i couldnt shift do to the pieces being lodged in the shift parts. It also took out the crank seal on that side so you should check into that.Just thought i would let you know.
I just rememberd..I had a spare nut for it so i just cranked 1 on there to strating the threads out then took it off and threw the good nut on.So if you got a spare nut then just do that.
Well I do have two nuts but Im not crankin on them. I bought a thread file today and cleaned the thread up, now I need a new nut too. Also how do you get the crank back into the case with out the handy little tool?
