Hi guys im in australia and run a custom lil 1997 dt200r, thats the crank case inducted one like wr200. Its used for mostly road riding and commuting with 17inch road wheels then i swap wheels over when i want to get dirty..they are a great lil engine butter smooth and make great usable power but the idea of a simpler version appeals to me. Early dt200l engines, same as the blaster, and blaster engines are hard to come by. How ever dt200R crank case inducted are reasonably plentiful here..as are aftermarket blaster top ends stock or bigbore on line.
A blaster cylinder fits the dt200R cases if everything else being equal , could u block/ stuff the blaster cylinder intake and continue to run the carb via crank case ? Im sure a blaster bb kit would more than make up the difference a pv water cooled top end has..just a though id love your input thanks
