crank bearings

how do you check them after you take off the jug without breaking the case apart? i ask cause i have a noise coming from my engine its a knocking like sound but goes away when i hit the throttle i just did a top end rebuild and my rod bearing was tight

take off your stator cover and try wiggling the flywheel, if it has any play up and down or left and right, you have worn crank bearings

I've been worried lately so I checked today, no play up or down on the flywheel... Weird... I geuss its just the way it is
