I have about a 6" crack in my plastic (see below). Is there any trick to fixing this?

I was thinking super glue or another adhesive that will fill the crack and attach the 2 pieces again but will the vibration cause it to crack again?

I have heard of people heating it up and mealting the two pieces back together i have never tried it but heard it works. I have always just used zip ties but it does not look the greatest

damn I have a crack just like that... but on the other rear fender... but like specialized7 said just stop drill it, it shouldn't crack any worse....

or you could always sew them back together, heat the plastic up really good, then take some safety wire and sew it back together lol

I was thinking about gluing a piece of plastic about an inch wide on the under side of the crack to hold it together... then trying to rill in the crack with polyurethane or clear fingernail polish... but i'll definitely put a small hole at the end of the crack

So here's what I did...

Drilled a hole at the top of the crack..... (good call Specialized....)

Used Locktight plastic epoxy and coated the crack on both sides... it setup quickly and seems to be working fine... but time and riding will tell on this on...
