im not debating that the reed cage is not bigger but its not all about size you got to take the tip area into play most of the fuel that flow through the cage is going to come off of the petal.. eventually off of the tip of the petal the greater the reed tip area equals the greater the fuel that is going into the cylinder.. this is a generalazation about reeds but hold true for the most part.. v force is the only cage for these that uses 4 petals.. that means it has alot more tip area which means more fuel.. the 4 petal v force design will make more hp in 99.99% of applications on these little engines thats what i read today about makes alot of sense to me sooooo the more tip area the more fuel can flow i do understand that vf3 have a high price but honestly i think theres a reason. im sure they spent plenty of time perfecting the design. im sure they went threw lots of trail and error to get it right. just like im sure ken did flotek wildcard with there porting. im not saying to not go for the vf3 but lets be honest if there is a gain from the 125 reed cage over the vf3's. is it realy going to be that much to of spent the money on the vf3's to take them off spend more on the 125 cage the spacer and if you dont have a dremal or the skills to mod the cylinder. is it worth all that to switch for a little gain in power to no gain at all.
when there is other things you could do to push more power outa theses fun little machines. im just expresion my opion on the subject and giving you guys the layout on how i look at things. if i could score a cheap cage would i do this swap probley but thats not the point im trying to make.
