THE REG/REF ARE CONNECTED TO THE frame, and the only thing that was floated is the stator for the dc power?

Take your ground off the stator and run it to the reg/rectifier . The 2 wires off the lighting coil on the stator go to the yellows on the new reg/rec . Then run the other 2 wires off the reg/rec straight to the battery .Then run positive and neg from the led's to the battery . Run your green wire off the headlight switch between the positive of the led's

Isn't the reg/ref grounded to the chassis with the body of the unit?

Yeah you can say it is...just don't ground any wires off the reg/rec to the chassis . I bolted my reg/rec where the stock one was

i was riding in country at night and my headlight spit colors out then dies so idk if it burnt out but if it did could i put led pods on it or a led bar ??

after you spent how much on them lights ? to try and power them cheaply is asking for troubles. IMO
time to break out more of them bronco bucks

the trailteach battery will tuck right into your airbox behind the filter

Did you have to float the ground to install this configuration? I really like it dude..... absolutely magnificent job man.....I like your style.....nice and clean dude.....no ragged splice work plug ins....fuses....just the all around way things should be done !!!!

What do u suggest I run that is small takes up minimum space but is reliable and efficient to run 2 round led lights or one bar and 2 small fog type leds

The nology coil is a ignition coil. Are you asking about a lighting coil?

Oh ok no sh*t I've never seen them way up front like that? But I was looking for a small rechargeable battery pack that I could mount for a led set.i want to float the ground from my stator to a regulator rectifier to charge a battery but I don't want a huge battery just something that will juice up a 6 inch led bar and maybe my phone charger
